Biography:
Mr Gleeson qualified from Trinity College Dublin 1987 and he undertook his Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine in Manchester and Edinburgh. He was first appointed as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine to St George’s Hospital and Medical School, London in 1997, where he became Clinical Director in 1998. He returned to Ireland in 2000 as the Lead Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. He led the establishment of the Emergency Department at Blackrock Clinic, where he served as Clinical Director from 2010 to 2015, and he was Medical Director at the hospital from 2015 to 2019. His practice currently is restricted to medicolegal work only, that relating to personal injury and medical negligence claims.
